Bēhere unveils “The New Schoolhouse” — a campus-and-app model that re-roots education in nature, family, and privacy. Discover how a Santa Barbara County campus and the Bēhere Rhythm App (with Nillion’s Privacy AI) create a living ecosystem for learning.
When people ask what kind of “school” Bēhere is, I usually smile.
We’re not building a school.
We’re building a new foundation for living and learning — a home for families who believe education begins with life itself.
The schoolhouse of the past was built to contain.
Rows of desks. Bells that ring. Walls that separate “school” from “world.”
The schoolhouse of the future will be built to connect — to nature, to family, to truth.
Our vision is not to reform education, but to re-root it — to take learning out of the industrial complex and plant it back in living soil.
At Bēhere, the schoolhouse is wherever life is happening:
Each space becomes a living ecosystem — designed not to standardize, but to awaken.
This is what we’re building next:
a Bēhere Campus where children and parents learn side by side,
where technology supports connection instead of replacing it,
where community replaces curriculum,
and where families remember how to learn together again.
The Bēhere Campus is more than a place — it’s a prototype for a new pattern of life.
We’re working to bring this vision to land in Santa Barbara County, beginning with Najoqui Farms — a historic, fertile property where agriculture, community, and consciousness can coexist.
Imagine:
This is not a dream. It’s the natural next step.
The system we grew up in is collapsing under its own weight — test scores falling, teachers leaving, children burning out before adolescence.
But the real crisis isn’t academic. It’s spiritual.
We’ve forgotten that education was once sacred.
That to educate — from the Latin educare — means “to draw out.”
Not to pour in facts, but to awaken the divine spark already present in every child.
Bēhere exists to draw that spark out again.
The New Schoolhouse isn’t a retreat from the world.
It’s a model for how we rebuild it — one community at a time.
In the Bēhere system, privacy is built into the architecture.
Every reflection, log, or AI conversation that families have in the Bēhere Rhythm App is protected by Nillion’s Privacy AI layer.
Families can learn, create, and grow with the support of AI — without being surveilled.
The app and the land mirror each other:
Together they form a circle — one rhythm, both physical and digital.
We’re not waiting for permission to build this.
We’re raising it together — family by family, partner by partner, one brick of faith at a time.
The Bēhere Campus will be a living model:
It’s where we’ll teach the next generation what it means to be free — not just in thought, but in economy, in technology, and in time.
The New Schoolhouse will not look like the old one.
It will look like life.
In the months ahead, we’ll invite founding families and aligned partners to join this vision — through contribution, co-design, and presence.
What we build together here won’t just change education.
It will change how communities organize themselves for generations to come.
If you’ve ever felt called to be part of the new foundation —
if you’ve ever imagined a school where truth, privacy, and joy coexist —
then you already belong.
Welcome to The New Schoolhouse.
Welcome to Bēhere.
from our journey into the future of education and the future of work.
