Before I talk about collapsing institutions, let me tell you something I’ve learned from years of building, breaking, learning, and rebuilding:
Whenever something collapses, people think it’s the end. Sure, something has ended.
But collapse is almost always the beginning of seeing clearly.
That’s what’s happening right now.
Parents may seem to be suddenly becoming distrustful of doctors, governments, politicians, and mandates… because they’re finally noticing what was always there:
systems calling themselves “we” while operating miles away from the people they claim to serve — for a distant master overlord.
These Institutions hope you never realize:
The WE they built was never real.
The Tell-A-Vision was always THEIR VISION
The Real WE is rising now.
AuthorITIES and Corporations linked-together and pretending to be governments used we for the power that it contained in it for their propaganda purposes, and got away with it in the Industrial Era.
“We know what’s best.”
“We’re all in this together.”
“We’re preparing your children for the future.”
“We’ll decide a healthy checkup schedule for you and your baby…”
“We’ll tell you what you need to know — don’t ask questions.”
“We think it’s best to keep a 6ft distance from everyone ✋…”
Families feel the cracks.
Privacy lost,
freedom shrunk,
The COVID Retarded Years still unapologized for…unfixed, unhealed — memory holed.
children being shaped by systems instead of relationships in what is now the Post-AI world where AI is better than you and I at most things and is offering companionship.
Each of us face the challenge of finding and maintaining our own sense of belonging in a world where many AI models are able to do most things better than us, and first drafts are very easy to come by. Having great taste is now more important than ever.
I used to be the guy people would go to if they wanted to turn an idea in their head into an image, graphic, poster, website, or any other form of media. AI models do that for most people now. In a way, the AI revolution disrupted graphic designers first, so I’ve been naturally motivated to explore the frontier of building companies and communities in the post-AI world.
So here’s the good news:
The collapse of trust is not only the end to the old system,
It’s a portal… to be surfed 🏄 into a new world — designed by US . ✨
The Real WE — grounded in family, community, rhythm, belonging — cannot be controlled, scaled, or centralized. It is natural, organic, sovereign, and free. It is the spirit WE generally believe this country (USA) was founded on.
A quick hats off to entrepreneurs like Adam Neumann (cofounder at WeWork) who have been successful at igniting and directing that spirit of WE for creating change in an industry. I love the passion Adam brought to creating a sense of belonging for a millennial breed of freelancers and startups on the WeWork journey, rethinking office space and creating a commercial Real Estate empire once valued at $47 Billion. Things got a bit crazy 😂🙏 , the blitz scaling strategy was over-the-top crazy guy stuff — but there was something genuine and fun in the WE of WeWork.
I too call upon the great spirit of WE for a grand transformation in education around the earth.
A WE that grows from the bottom up, not the top down.
A WE that honors attention as Creative Power.
A WE that returns privacy to the default,
restores human agency,
honors freedom,
offers meaning,
benefits, and
connection.
A WE that distributes REwards for adding value to the network.
A WE with a culture and an app designed to help you reach your personal, educational, and family goals faster — not to run you on endless-scrolling data-harvesting-extractive loop sold to the highest bidder.
A WE of feminine and masculine equality.
A WE that helps families build education plans designed around a students strengths, interests, and gifts — not a harm-for-profit and world war-maker sales models. The old WE is done and glitching out. A New WE is rising.
That WE is Bēhere.
The Real WE.
